The HK Chief Executive Election

The question "Do people really care (who becomes the next Chief Executive)?" deserves an answer. I don't represent "people" and I can only speak for myself. I do care, BUT... there's nothing I can do about it. You see, I am not on the election committee... I don't even know any of the committee members.

So to me this is all but a show... a spectator sport. Who will win the election? Only the Big Brother to the North knows. They probably have already got someone picked out for the post, plus an alternative if something should happen to their first choice. Now you know why they have always insisted on at least two of their men on the nominated list. They are being very cautious. When it comes to political strategem, Big Brother writes the rule book.
