If
country leaders had acted rationally, there would have been no wars ever in
human history. The fact that we have had three world wars and countless small
scale wars demonstrates that sometimes country leaders behave irrationally.
China and Japan are dangerously approaching a scenario where both sides feel
that a peaceful solution is impossible. The chance of a major war between China
and Japan (and its ally,the
US) is very slim, but there is a good chance that China and Japan forces engage
in unfriendly fire. What will be the outcome? Will it be escalated to
full-scale warfare? We just have to wait and see.
