A Day To Recognize All Fathers

“Happy Father's Day !!!!!” Father's Day, like Mother's Day provides an opportunity for us to take a moment to give some well deserved attention to fathers who often times either don't look for attention or they are graciously letting the mothers take the spot light.

Words cannot express the parent's unconditional love, for those of us who are fortunate to be one would know how it is coming out of the DNA without thinking what and how much we would do for our children. Father are usually playing the external role although the line is not quite drawn that way these days......Despite how the role evolves; we do give equal attention and credit to both parents. Fathers however are usually not getting nor looking for the same degree of attention, so it's even more important for us to make a point on this day to celebrate the greatness of all Dads.......

.

Happy Father's Day, wishing you health and many, many happy returns.........................."

my friend Sue wrote me .

Mother's Day, Father's Day, Bosses Day, Children's Day, Secretary's Day, Teacher's Day, Nurses Day, Soldier's Day, Love-Your-Pet Day, Labor Day... we sure love to celebrate and would find all the reasons to do so.

To be politically correct and to show my concern for those who might have been left out, I would propose a few more happy days:

Childless Day - to recognize those who have no children

Singles Day - for those who remain single

Patients Day - they certainly deserve a day to celebrate

Jobless/Homeless Day

Retirees Day

Students Day

Uncles/aunts Day... the list is endless!

Or instead, we could open up our minds and decide to celebrate whenever and however we wanted and make everyday a "Happy Day"

So this is Bob wishing you all a happy "Happy Day".
