Stay hungry. Stay foolish

My friend Danny Li said: “In remembrance of Steve Jobs, I would like to share with you this very inspirational video - Steve Jobs' speech given on Stanford's commencement ceremony in 2005. He told his unusual life stories: about his success and failure, his attitude towards life and death...You might have already seen it before but it makes good sense to view it again today.

I have never seen this particular video before. Yes, it's an excellent speech. I particularly appreciated the beginning when he explained why he dropped out of college after 6 months and how that decision has actually led to his success.

I did not listen to the end of his speech. I assume he would say something positive about having a college degree. After all, he was speaking at a commencement exercise at Stanford!

Nonetheless, Steve Jobs is just another example which proves that there is no direct correlation between attainment in formal education (i.e. higher education) and the personal achievement of an individual.
