Talking about food safety in China, my friend Stella said: “This is how the world turns, things go around and around, people in China has been deprived of things so long that they strive so badly now and then things will catch up with them...”

The government is ultimately responsible for the food safety "time-bomb" in China. People are of course greedy and would do anything to make a quick buck. It's the responsibility of the government to have the proper measures in place and to enforce them. Meanwhile, if I were to live in China, I would definitely grow my own rice and veggie, raise my own chicken, and milk my own cow...
