The Hong Kong CE Election Debate

I've just sat through the debate between the three candidates and I must say that I am very happy with the way it turned out. All three candidates were well-prepared and outspken and were able to get their points across. Hong Kong is part of China. This is probably the first time in "China" that we hear the candidates challenging one another in a televised public debate. This is one small step for Hong Kong... a giant step for China!

To me, it matters little who wins the election... the process is more important than the outcome, and it gives me renewed confidence on achieving suffrage in the 2017 election. I feel we deserve suffrage and we can carry it out in excellent form. I believe (I hope) our Big Brother to the north realizes that too as they watch the debate tonight.
