Tim Fook:

You know that I have gout for three years and is now on medication since last year. Yes, just one drinking and hot pot push me to the limit.

However, bread is mentioned by you because of yeast and I take bread everyday. whilst I am tempted by your bakery skill.

Sue:

Thank you so kindly for your desire for my bakery goods/bread.  And thanks for the King Arthur Flour (and thanks to Charlie and Linda)  you got me from New Jersey.  As soon as the renovation is done, I will start to bake again and of course you will be on my list to test them out.

Tim Fook:

Anne worked in the Bank and she had to stand for an interval of about 2-3 hours prior to an interim rest. She was orthopedics tp have special insoles and compression stock to easy the tiredness of foot. This works.

You have to test the level of compression. In those orthopedics and Shopper Drug Health Store, you can find both.

Stella:

Thanks Tim Fook for the info.I think my Mom's condition in the toes is due to circulation and lack of exercise; that's what the doctor told her when she complained about it, and all he suggested was more walking and eat bananas.

Tim Fook:

You know that in health tips, you are recommended to dip you feet in hot water before to bed. You may add salt to the water and this is recommended by my friend , a pharmacist in Shopper Drug.

Peter Cheung:

I suppose that would be Epsom salt?

Stella:

Incidentally, I just bought a big box of Epsom salt from Walmart for foot bath. Will share that with my Mom.

Bob:

Do you like lemon? It might help you lower the uric acid level in your body and thereby alleviate your gout problem:

"To reduce uric acid levels stop drinking tea and and start taking juice of 1 or 2 lemons in a glass of tepid or cool water, first thing in the morning on empty stomach. It will immediately act on the kidneys which will flush out the excess uric acid. Take this daily for some days, you will feel an enormous difference." (Excerpt from a health information site)

I start my day by squeezing half a lemon into a glass of water and drink it. I add a
teaspoonful of honey to make it more palatable. You should try that too.

Sue:

Lemon is one of the top "good" list. Because of it's sour taste sometimes people perceive it to be acidic. It is so far from the truth. Lemon is an alkaline forming food so not only is it good for people with gout it is good for general health as well.

Have a lemon on me : >)
