My humble opinion is that this is very much Mr Murdoch’s creation. Let’s face it, birds of the same feather
flock together.
He employs like-minded people to drive his vision and his values. Employees take the cue (more often than
not directives) from management and the newspaper ultimately imploded.
In politics, we saw the demise of Richard Nixon and ‘all the president’s
men’. Apparently they all used
highly colourful words like he did during discussions on matters to do with
national security, and the Democrats! Bush Jr. is another example of the
congregation of cow-boys and gun-slingers which created a mess in the
Honestly, I don’t know much about Mr Murdoch at all until Wendi Deng
hooked up with him. I thought that
the relationship is so bloody awkward, especially at family gatherings where
his adult children are present. Good
luck to him and to his heart!
