Sue:         Dear Stella, It's nice talking with you today and for your continuous thoughts for my mom.

I am so pleased to have received the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Award from the Governor General Canada. The nomination came from the non-profit organization that I have been participating as an active mentor for immigrants and regular speaker for their Leadership Development program since 2005. While there has never been any expectation as a volunteer, it's a nice surprise and I am very flattered to have received the recognition for my community work.

Thanks for being a big sister and in sharing my joy and excitement.

Stella:      Dear all, our little sister Sue recently received the Queen's Diamond Jubilee special award for her contribution to the community, which she deserves handsomely - for her commitment, passion and capability, which is reflected in everything she does.

Well done Sue! We are proud of you.

Peter:       Wow, getting a big Gong from the 事頭婆, this is a big deal.

In old HK, you could literally ‘buy’ a title like this, e.g., serving on the Po Leung Kuk, or donating millions to the Duke of Edinburgh-sponsored projects etc.

Not in Canada, Oz or Kiwland. You really have to work for it. That makes such a title so special.

Well done Sue. Another tigress is showing its real colours.
