Bob Choi:       Lang Lang was turned 15 yesterday. For a dog, it's equivalent to 105 years old in the human scale. She had a wonderful disposition, gentle and playful all at once. As a doctor dog volunteer for many years, she had brought joy to many elderly and lonely people who were institutionalized. They looked upon Lang Lang's weekly visit with much anticipation. She would let them touch her, hold her and would never make a fuss. We had four dogs at one time. Three left us one after another over the last couple of years.

Pang Lang had lost her appetide and was lethargic for over a week. This morning, I found her lifeless on the floor. She has left us sometime during the night. Some people say that only humans have souls (and that animals have none). I believe they probably have never had a dog like  Lang Lang.

Peter Wu:      Losing a pet, especially a dog, is never easy to cope.

Take comfort from the fact that she lived a happy life and provided joy and relief to many.

And most importantly, her departure coincided with her natural life span and most probably free from pain and sufferings.

I think this is Karma at work.

Get another dog, Bob.

Tim Fook:       I share the same feeling of losing a friend of cat which died at the age of 18. In his last few years, he to liked to share my desk to get the warmth of table light until I turned off the light. If he didn’t jump on my desk , he would be at  my mother’s side after she finished the household works. He went to the bed of my elder brother every night . At the instruction of doctor, my elder brother had him to have injection for passing away and my elder brother bears this in mind until now.
