The advance of China in the past 30 years is indeed amazing. It rivals the success story of Japan which transformed itself from an atomic bomb testing ground for the us in mid-40s to the richest nation in the world in the 80s, buying everything they could get their hands on in the us....
BUT, what happened to japan now? An economic basket case, a mere shadow of its former glory, and the downfall took place within only a few short years, taking everyone by surprise.
So while we are rejoicing in the recent accomplishments of china, lets also pay heed to the only known constant in the universe: everything runs in cycles... whether u like it or not.
