Most of my friends are entering the age of attrition. its not something we like to think about, but life expectancy tables dictate that in the coming 10 years, 10% among us will bid goodbye; in 20 years, 50%; in 30 years... well, you got the picture.
we all have lived long enough to realize that LIFE is a mixed bag: love/hate, joy/sorrow, health/sickness, hope/despair, laughter/tears...
show me a man who has only experienced the good things in life and i say he has not truly lived!
the best we can do is to take each day in stride, appreciate every moment and at the end stare death in the face and say: i have lived and i am done. now if you mind, i would like to go and catch the next train!
